Anyone can make a new start at any time. But at each New Moon cycle we have a powerful opportunity to set intentions. Our New Year is another perfect opportunity, since the volume of people focused on change gives us a collective energy to tap into, that can amplify our intentions and help us manifest a real difference in our lives. Do you make regular resolutions and give up on them a week or two later? When you make them, do you really believe you will carry them through? Or in some part of your mind do you acknowledge that it’s really only a matter of time before you fail?Read More

As 2016 comes to a close, I realize how challenging this year has been. For myself, for the world, for many of my friends. And yet, in the midst of chaos, one of the greatest gifts I received was the clarity that the simplest accomplishments give me the most pleasure. Lifting a friend’s spirits. Creating a delicious meal. Writing by the glow of a candle. I am a person who typically overcomplicates life. My mind races ahead in the day to judge my progress before I take a single step. My ego believes I should be doing ten times what I have achieved. And my heart gets confused by the inordinate amount of pain and suffering in the world.Read More
From The Light Circle
2016 has been a turbulent year for your Earth planet and many are feeling the pressure. It has been a year where forces that were hidden in your society were brought out into the light to be examined and worked through. Please do not persuade yourself that these forces are new, they were there all along, hidden, festering, and now they have been brought into the light in order to be faced and transformed. This process may take time, but you have the chance now to change your society in a way that would not before have been possible, because you truly are beginning to understand what you are facing. 2016 has therefore been a year of shining the light on what needs to be done. It has triggered many people into patterns they thought long buried, but in truth, nothing can be buried, only hidden or transformed. Now it is time for the latter.
Christmas is an emotional time. For many it is a moment to be joyous, spend time with family, give gifts and rest. For others it is a time of stress and conflict, or it may highlight loneliness, loss of a loved one, or a lack of abundance. The friction between these two types of energy is felt in many ways, with people either indulging, or feeling angry at what it represents in their lives.Read More
I was a January baby, and I love Christmas. It’s my favourite time of year. I’m not religious, but for me, this time of year is profound. It’s a time when we come together and create something magical that is outside of our everyday manic existence. It’s about what we offer each other and how we can create a place of serenity, love and peace to share with those we love, and with those who need our support. It’s about love and it’s about kindness. For me, Christmas isn’t a day. It’s a month. I love the fairy lights on dark nights. I love that most people around me are winding down. I love the music, the food, the candles and most of all the atmosphere. We talk a lot about needing to protect ourselves from negative energy. What we don’t talk about enough, is how great we feel when we’re around people who are relaxed and happy, when we absorb that happiness from everyone around us.Read More

Have you ever wished you could speak to animals and figure out exactly what was on their minds? Maybe you tried to communicate with your pet telepathically, but you couldn’t pick up any information. Thankfully, that’s not the only way to speak to animals. You can speak to them using oracle or tarot cards too. A few years ago, a friend introduced me to the concept of using tarot cards to speak with animals. It seemed a little silly to me at first, but I was blown away by the accuracy of the cards when I began to test them on my own pets, and my friends’ pets, too. Once I became confident in my ability to communicate with animals using tarot cards, I set up a booth at a pet fair, and I became the most popular vendor there. I had a long line of people waiting to get a reading for their pets. I was honored and inspired to be able to be the vessel that allowed pets to communicate clearly with their pet parents for the very first time. Many people walked away from their readings with smiles on their faces, and others walked away with tears of gratitude. It was an incredible experience. In this article, I’m going to show you how you can use tarot or oracle cards to speak with animals. The best part about this spread is that you can use it for any animal. I’ve used it on cats, dogs, birds, rats, hamsters, lizards, and snakes. You might also notice that your accuracy rating is higher for pets than it is for people. I believe the reason for this is that pets don’t get sucked into games like “test the psychic.” They want a way to communicate with the people taking care of them, so they are more than happy to allow us, as animal communicators, to tap into their energy, regardless of the method we use. There is no limit to what you can learn from this simple four card spread. I use the Whimsical Tarot** for animal communication readings. In fact, I’ve dedicated this deck for that sole purpose, and I never use it for any non-animal related readings. It has a good, lovable, playful, and innocent vibe to it, which makes it a perfect match for nearly every animal I’ve ever read for. Once you’ve formulated your question, hold the deck in your hands, and focus on the question. You may even want to look at your pet while you’re doing this, or close your eyes and …
